Originally from Northern California, LeAnn was raised on Kauai since 1969. Brought up in a family of contractors - James Blackwell of Blackwell Construction -  and later marrying Tim Uno of J.T. Uno Construction in 1985, LeAnn has been involved in construction, real estate and land development basically her whole life.

LeAnn joined Makai Properties in 2005 after raising two awesome children. Her daughter, Kimberlee, is currently a Licensed RN and working on Kauai. LeAnn's son, Tosh, has earned his degree as a Master Mechanic and is licensed in the State of Hawaii and is currently attending Calvary Chapel Bible College for a degree in Theology. Our family loves the ocean, the natural beauty of Kauai and all it has to offer: surfing, fishing, boating, camping, hiking. LeAnn also has a passion to help those in need and runs a soup kitchen every Saturday night at her church, Kapaa Missionary Church in Kapaa, where she and her assisitants distribute free groceries, dinner and free clothing to approxiamately 150-200 people each week.

Kauai has been her home for most of her life...she loves helping people. Kauai is dear to her heart and enjoys sharing it with others who want to make it their home.
